Well... one program I saw a while back in the Tools section was HTM2LDVD (HTML webpage to menu, I believe). I have no idea if it works, or to what extent it supports webpages (basic HTML only, probably).
There might be others, but I haven't looked for them, so I can't comment. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
Htm2ldvd is not worth it ... dont waste time on it ... mostly dosen't work anyway .
It can be done , though it is quite confussing for newbie's to perform .
All web page's need conversion to 800x600 ... cannot extend in length (height)
Set monitor display to 800x600 .
Use zd soft screen recorder to record all action's ... not the whole screen , just the area inside browser window ...
Use super to convert this avi to vob ... make video bitrate above 2400 .
(note ... latest super has issue's on screen draw)
Right click in area where video file's are placed , choose change skin , use super C default ... no more screen redraw issue's .
Follow my commercial removal guide as used with vdub .
Split video into seperate component's ... each page is one .
Clickable area's that go to another page will become button's .
(no more than 32 button's per menu allow'd)
Use vobedit to demux video / audio to seperate stream's .
Encode audio to ac3 .
Use ifoedit / rejig to reauthor from stream's ... use that cell text time list as created using my commercial removal guide .
When done , use vobedit to demux title via cell id .
Demux each one of the small vob's into seperate vidoe / audio stream's .
Now run dvdauthorgui .
Add one title (video and audio) ... must be same resolution format as for chosen output format .
Ie , title 1 for pal is 720x576 ... this allow's for the basic process's to function .
All you mini vob's (video / audio) will be used in menu only .
Add them ... then approach menu editor and add button area's as required .
The linking is going to be the area where you may stuggle .
Small project's are simple ... but project's this grand require several thing's .
Patience ... coffee ... you must be awake ... above all , dont panic (panic if you didnt save the project)
Pgcedit is a fast way to correct any navigational error's ...
Major screwup's need reauthoring (remember to save dvauthorgui project's ... just incase)
Once you get past all this ... and have it all figured out ... you can consider yourself well conversed in this particular method ... please pass knowledge onto other's .
=====================
Enjoy ...
Please hold ... guide online in two week's .
Hd-dvd is supposed to help with pc screen to tv screen issue that has plagued pc's since the advent of tv out ... though it will not work correctly for older tv's , being around 640x480 ... ever noticed pc screen on tv ... you can see it , but reading the font's will send you blind ...
I am backing blueray ... server backup for mass file storage and general hdtv use ...
====================
Note : recording from pc to any external device will give poor quality detail ... especially font's . -
You can also connect the s-video output of a laptop to a DVD recorder, and run the web page manually.

Does anyone found anything for my old request. I keep looking but I havent found anything

what about any screen capture program? There are tons available. Then you can record to avi and convet to mpg for authoring.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
What are you going to do with the dvd? If its just for a computer, you could easily invoke a web browser to see it.

I thought that it would be grate if I could easily convert a web page to a dvd. For example. Having some photos in front and clicking on them with enter via remote control it will transfer me to the contents of that image (that I have). Just like internet browsers.
I feel that I am asking a very special thing just for me. I dont believe that many would need it so no software exist.
I dont want to make an avi with my webpage (like a presentaton). -
You wish to author DVDs using your Web page as an example.
This is not possible from what I know. You have to use a flexible DVD authoring application and emulate your Web browser. -
I understand....! So whatever I do I have to do it manual. This is a bit difficult and much time to loose. I will just wait then for a software to be released. I don't believe that any company would do such a thing but I will wait....
Thanks for your effort trying to help me
