im having problems with the Direct Show Codecs that Windows Media Player uses
i am this program that allows you to set the priorities, but when i set a high priority for one codec,
WMP uses this codec for all its video files, and then some are choppy.
if i switch the codec to another one, other files don't work. How do i get codecs that interchange between video files, so that every format works?

Just my opinion, but I would give up on WMP and use a player like VLC Media Player that has it's own codecs.
What type of video files are you talking about?
