Whilst I'm in a generous mood, I must say that the Socceroos performed tremendously well by finishing above their world ranking, and playing "above" themselves, and for that they are to be congratulated.

But keep it in perspective, eh ?


All the scenes of violence afterwards, though, with car windows being smashed and all that by angry patrons, that's just ridiculous and gives the majority of good-behaved patrons a bad name.

Never write off the Germans, particularly in a penalty shoot out.

Being English I wanted them both to loose , but after seeing the behaviour of the Argentinians after the game I am glad Germany won.

If you don't know, you better don't speak: We reacted that way because some "happy" german player laughed in the face of some Argentinian players afther we loose (it was broadcasted in an Argentinian exclusive camera, not in the "official" transmition), and I think it wasn't very "fair play". Really sad to see my team leave tha championship this way, well, the next will be ours, only hope that Brazil loose, but they are so lucky that you never know..... Bye

If you want to keep adding more information such as multiple images to the one post, you can use the edit button as many times as you like and continually add more images and text ad nauseam and it won't bump the topic back up the top of the list or send emails to everyone every time. So it means you can have all the freedom you want, and those who aren't particularly interested are not bothered either, so it's a courtesy and a win-win situation for all.
