Is it a hack that makes a DVD player able to play DIVX files or is it something the manufacturer does? If it is a hack, Is there one for the Kawasaki 10921?

  4. or IOW there has to be hardware in the player so either buy a new player that supports Divx/Xvid or encode to DVD spec, author and burn as a DVD.

You can see a list of Divx capable players to the left: https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers
Just select Divx in the checklist and you will see some compatible players. There are some inexpensive ones available at some of the chain stores like Walmart or similar. There are some that are around $50US and they will also play a regular DVD.

    And welcome to our forums.
