    Hi!

I've put a live broadcasting in one machine, and I'm trying to do transmit it to other machines inside a LAN. All machines are in the same LAN.

I've installed Unreal Media Server, which sends the data to the other machines, and also Unreal Live Server, which encodes and streams.

However, the sound arrives discontinuous (I mean, it pauses and resumes), and so is the video (without sync).

By the way, the machine which runs this server is not that fast.

    Could anyone help?

    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Joelson.

If it's inside a LAN, why would you stream the video??
I read this primer, and it totally opened my eyes..

Perhaps this article could be of more benefit than i can...
    Good luck!!!

pijetro: thanks for the answer. I just took a glance at the document you sent, and as far as I could see, it explains about streaming, and, in the end, writes about Adobe products to perform that. However, as the server is a K6-II 450 MHz, I think installing Adobe products would be too heavy for this machine.

    Any other idea?
    Best regards,
    Joelson.

Actually, since it's an Adobe site, they are simply trying to get you to use their products..It's up to you what tools you use to create the graphical assets, but as far as sharing the results, this article is a great starting point...
