I have a Ritek DVD+RW that I have used to temporary store converted files that i don't plan on keeping permantly. But somehow this disc has become unuseable. I've erased it using DVDDecyrypter, Nero, and, TMPG DVD Editor, but when it comess time to burn to it, Nero, and, DVD editor say it needs to be erased. I have them do it, but then they still say it's full, won't write to it. Can someone give me a clue as to how to get this disc readable as empty again?
    Thanks.

I've had a few discs do this also. It's been my experience, that once the disc is unusable, it can't be fixed.

I've had a DVD decide it's a CD...it would play the dvd video in my dvd player (although be a little choppy), and when I tried to extract the data from it it said it was an empty cd...isobuster couldn't help me either.
