Hi averybody, so I am using VirtualDubMod to add black borders around my fansubs, but the quality of the video after the VDubbing process is turning out pretty crappy. I'm choosing to do Full Processing mode along with no compression when I save my outputs, but the quality is always horrible, even though the output is much larger than the original. Any suggestions?

  2. With no compression the output quality should be very close to the source. Which filters and parameters are you using?

If you are using the resize filter, set the basic resize to be the same as your current image size. Use the Expand Frame and Letterbox Image function to add the borders. This way you don't actually change the image itself.
