I´ve got some dvd rip avi files on my computer(they´re from 560 mb - 716 mb) and I was wondering when I convert them to vcd are there any settings in the TMPGEenc I can use to get good sound & picture without the file getting to 2,4 gb.

When you say avi files, do you mean Divx avi files.
If yes, then you'll definitely be looking at much bigger files when the go to mpeg. You'll have to encode then split them to burn.
As for what to use... it depends if you want vcd or svcd or something in between.

The thing I want to know is if I can put it on 2 cd´s ´cause to put 90 min. movie on 3 cd´s is to much. You´re always changing the disk

If you encode at the standard VCD bitrate, 1150kbits/sec (Which is what I could do if you don't know much about the area), then you can fit about 80 minutes of VCD quality MPEG video on a 80min CD-R. I would recommend cutting the AVI files with Virtual Dub (See Tutorial) into segments no longer than say 70 minutes, and then encoding them using TMPGEnc's VideoCD template.
