Hi. I want to capture a concert that aired in 16:9 on a high def channel that's currently on my cable system's DVR to my PC to burn it to a DVD. Is there any program that I can use, such as Sony Vegas, Pinnacle Studio, or even Microsoft Media Center to capture the video to the PC in 16:9 or edit and resize the video/remove the bars from the 4:3 image and clean up the video to get the best picture possible?
Also, I was wondering between Sony Vegas and Pinnacle Studio, which product is the best at getting the best possible picture out of my old VHS tapes that I'd like to transfer to DVD.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Kevin
