First of all, my english is not very good. I'm sorry

I've build a DVD disk using Adobe Encore 1.5. There are 29 clips (or assets) in it, each one in its own timeline. Each one have an End_Action that leads to the next, so if you hit Play_All, you get a long video without interruptions, in the right order.

I also have scene buttons with an Override set that brings you back to the main menu. Everything works fine, but (there's always a f**ing but):

In this DVD there are no chapters, so if you hit the Next_Chapter key of the DVD player, it sends you to the next clip. But NOT to the right clip. Not to the one that should follow the one you're watching. And the player knows which is the one, because you can see the whole DVD in the right order if you don't hit Next_Chapter.

Instead, you go to some other clip. And if you hit Next_Chapter again, you go to another clip in the wrong order, and so on.

I've tried to change the assets' names, the timelines' names, but nothing changes. The wrong order remains the same. I can't find the rule for this order, so I can't change it. I've tested de disk in different DVD players, with the same results.

Any idea of what's going on? What's wrong? The work should be finished for the next week, and I'm completely blocked.

In Encore you should simply create a Play List wish your clips in the order you want them to play. That Playlist becomes say a single button which has sthe Play All type of property. If you happen to hit Next on your remote it will take you to the next clip and so an. Do not asign end actions to another clip. Use the play list option and that will work for you.

Your english is better than mine and I live in the US

  4. Creative chapter 2-3 frames before end clip.

Or download trial Adobe Encore DVD 2.0.
In Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 they FIX that problem.
