I have a question, what is a difference beatween the codecs; DivXnetworks v5 & Xvid Mpeg-4?
Is one better that the other? or they both the same, I have a video encoded with DivXnetworks v5 should I reincode it in to Xvid Mpeg-4 with VirtualDub?
Or I shouldn't worry and leave it as it is?

They are both variations of the same standard. One is commercial and proprietry, one is open source.
If you were encoding from scratch you might be concerned about which gives the better quality for the bitrate (Xvid possibly has the edge), however as any lossy encoding (and all mpeg is lossy) has a quality cost, there is nothing to be gained encoding a Divx5 video to Xvid unless it was to overcome a compatability issue with a standalone player.Read my blog here.

Thank you for telling me, i was afraid that it is a worse codec or something.
