I posted a few weeks ago,
and jimmalenko was kind enough to walk me through a script for Convolution3d.
Convolution smoothed out the grainyness, but I am still struggling with the big chunky dirt.
I'm trying to use Fizick's DeSpot in VirtualDubMod, and starting with sample scripts from his download page.
Code:LoadPlugin("despot.dll") AviSource("c:\__CAP\Test-22s.avi") ConvertToYV12(interlaced=true) DeSpot(p1=35, p2=14, pwidth=20, pheight=30,mthres=25,tsmooth=3,interlaced=true) #, show=1)
When I include the parameter show = 1, it highlights most of the dirt.
But when I process the clip with the filter, it doesn't seem to touch any of it.
Is this because I messed up the script?
Is it because most of the spots last for two frames instead of one?
Or is it caused by something else?
does anyone have advice for a poor little old lady who needs a clue?

Did I wear out my welcome?
I'm still hoping for some advice, and will be so grateful for any help.
Would it help to provide more information about this project?
