Hi,
I would like to record what's on my desktop screen to VHS.
I have a Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 TV Out card with a S-Video port on the back.
If I connect a VCR to the Graphics card using The S-Video will this be enough?
Will this only give me picture and not sound.
How and what do I need to use?
Many thanks in advance

Yes,
You can record what you see on your computer's screen to VHS, but the quality will be ugly. Trust me, I have been down this road before recording myself playing Unreal Tournament 2004.
You only need to enable TV Out, connect your S-Video cable to the Video In of your VCR and then using an adaptor for the Sound out connect a sound cable to your VHS Audio In.
The best quality would be recording to a second computer with Video In or using a TV card with S-Video in to the second machine. No tengo miedo a la muerte. Solo significa soņar en silencio. Un sueņo que perdura por siempre. ..
