    Hi,

im new to this dvd burning stuff, sorry if my Q is kinda noobish

i've been reading some topics & guide here last night, in here many recommend ImgTools Clasic for making an image & ImgBurn to burn them...

today i test to burn a data (contain pics, video, etc)...

but when i use ImgTools Clasic, it cant create an image...
it say that im missing a "video_ts.ifo" file?

so i use Folder2ISO, and it work, i can create the image...

my Question, why i cant create the image w/ ImgTools Clasic?
i wanna create it w/ ImgTools Clasic since lots of people recommended here?
    did i miss something here?

    thx

imgburn classic is just for dvd-video, not data dvds. use folder2iso for data dvds.

sorry, forgot to ask another question

is the Folder2ISO the best one for making data image (avi, omg, mkv vid etc for watching on pc)?
    will it lower the quality?
(i just wanna burn the movie as data, not as dvd video)

btw how can i make a data dvd that doest contain the video_ts or audio_ts folder?
i saw my game dvd doesnt have that structure?

    thx

"Best" is subjective, and differs from one person to another, but I've been using Folder2Iso for quite a while, and haven't had a single problem with it. Since it's free, that makes it perfect (as far as I'm concerned).

It will not change the quality in any way.

Folder2Iso reproduces the exact directory structure that exists on your hard drive. If there isn't VIDEO_TS and/or AUDIO_TS directories in the source directory on your hard drive, they won't be in the iso, or on the burned disk.

Yeah, I tried to use this also, thinking it was something simple and straightforward, but bombed out either with that error or another one. So I used something else. It's great to have instructions and the guides, but you don't always have the time to bother with them. Makes you really appreciate the great beauty of that rare program like Shrink, where you don't really need any docs to perform basic functions.

It seems to be different lanquages, but I can't see what it has to do with the program, unless it selects the alphabet set to use in the ISO title. Just use the first default selection and it should work fine.
