I am trying to encode an AVI (ASF) file in TMPgenc and it is saying that it will take 114 hours to encode a 70 minute movie (250,000MB) I have a high end machine with nothing else running, this cant be right. I have not changed any settings from the original download, it is encoding to MPEG-1.
What am I doing wrong.

I had a problem with lengthy conversions until I installed the Kristal Studio Pack from the tools section of this site.
Have you got it?
