  1. Hey there,

I'll try to make this short.

-3 PCs all trying to play the same video file in M4V format
-All 3 have Media Player Classic
-All 3 have QuickTime Alternative codec
    -All 3 have DiVX codec

Only two of them will play the video, the other one won't. On the one that refuses to play it, I've also tried installing XviD and FFdshow but no luck. I get the audio, but not the video.

I get this message have this message:

Media Player Classic could not render some of the pins in the graph, you may not have the needed codecs or filters installed on the system.

The following pin(s) failed to find a connectable filter:

have you enabled h264 decoding in ffdshow?
and maybe also disable mpc internal mp4/mov decoder under video->options->internal filters.

Should playback fine using MPC's splitter and ffdshow as a decoder.

suprzman: You should be aware that video you purchase from the iTunes store is encoded with DRM, so you'll only really be able to view it through iTunes (or a video iPod). Other players, including Media Player Classic, won't be able to view the videos properly.
