I want to use these two functions in my AviSynth script but whenever I load it all I get is a message saying there is no function called Telecide or Decimate. I have AviSynth v2.5.6 and I have the Decomb521.dll in the plugins directory for it. What have I missed?

Please post your entire AviSynth AVS script.

I'm very sorry, for I am a twat. I had remarked out the line that says "LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AutoGK\AviSynth\plugins\Decomb521.dll")"

Sorry about that. I'm an idiot. I'll be off now to punish myself with a birch branch flailing.

Hold off on the birch branch for now. If Decomb.dll was in your plugins directory, you should not have needed to use LoadPlugin() to load it. Something must be wrong with your Avisynth setup if your plugins folder is not working.

Yeah you're right. There probably is something wrong in the registry somewhere. I installed another program at one time which also came packaged with a copy of AviSynth though it put it in another directory of its own with no user options during install. Rather than have two identical installs of the same program in two different locations, I simply deleted the second one. But I suppose the registry entries for it still point to that non-existant location which is why it doesn't see my plug-ins directory anymore.

You can use regedit to fix that. Or deinstall and reinstall Avisynth.

You wouldn't happen to know where the key is that stores that information would you?
