  1. Using TMPGEncDVD Author I can visually set the start and end frame of a Video clip before burning the clip to DVD.
I was wondering if there is way that I can save the final clip instead of completing the output process which take a long time. I like to use that final clip in other projects.

In another word, I am looking for a tool which allows me to create a new clip by stripping off whatever I don't want from the original clip visually fast and easy.

I noticed that there are a number of mpeg editing tools in the tool list, but not sure which one is good and fast. I also want the resulting clip to be usable by other authoring tools.
    Any suggestion ?

  3. Thanks for the quick reply.
Anything free is prefer over fee, unless there is no reasonably good free one. I have already paid for TMPEncDVD Author. I may give VideoRedo a try since it is Trailware.

DVD Shrink in reauthor mode can also grab the segment you want, however you will still have to demux it at some point.
