I burned my AVI file on a DVD but at the end of it, when I play it on a standard DVD player I can only hear the sound. While I first see the first 3 seconds of the film and after that I can only see a green screen.
In AVI2DVD I've just chosen the standard options. In Encoding I only left unchecked Trelis and Extreme
It was a very simple film with no subtitles or else.
And one more thing, I was not even able to see the DVD MENU I created with the same software.
What's wrong?

does the dvd work on your computer with a software dvd player?
you could try other all-in-one converters like diko, thefilmmachine, divxtodvd and see if it works better.
and this is not dvd to, it is avi to. moving you. -

Is there a way before I burn a DVD to see the outcome and eventually check for any problem? -
Generate ISO only without burning it, and try something like Daemon Tools to mount the image and test that.
