  1. I burned my AVI file on a DVD but at the end of it, when I play it on a standard DVD player I can only hear the sound. While I first see the first 3 seconds of the film and after that I can only see a green screen.
In AVI2DVD I've just chosen the standard options. In Encoding I only left unchecked Trelis and Extreme
It was a very simple film with no subtitles or else.
And one more thing, I was not even able to see the DVD MENU I created with the same software.

    What's wrong?

does the dvd work on your computer with a software dvd player?
you could try other all-in-one converters like diko, thefilmmachine, divxtodvd and see if it works better.

and this is not dvd to, it is avi to. moving you.

No. The DVD has the same problem even on my pc's DVD recorder.
I'll try with the other software too.
Is there a way before I burn a DVD to see the outcome and eventually check for any problem?

Generate ISO only without burning it, and try something like Daemon Tools to mount the image and test that.
