    I just bought a DVD Player Philips DVP5100K which has support for divx. I burn my Divx videos with Nero as a DVD data disk,some of the videos play just fine but some play kind of slow and others doesn't play at all and all the videos play in my pc perfectly, so I would like to known how do you burn divx videos to play them in a DVD Player and if anyone else have this kind of problem too

  2. It sounds like you are burning your discs correctly. I always use the ISO DVD template in Nero (2GB file size limit). UDF should work too (4 GB file size limit). You should not use multi-session and should always close the session/disc.

    There are many MPEG4 features that are not supported by many set-top Divx/DVD players. These include GMC, QPEL, large frame sizes (over 720x576), high bitrate video (over 2500 kbps or so), low MP3 audio bitrates (~64 kbps or less), non-multiplexed audio and video, odd audio codecs, etc.
