    Hi,

I capture HD videos on a PC and I have been trying to convert them to H.264 or DviX using FFmpegX. However, invariable the conversion starts and never ends. In the FFmpegx progress viewer I see the running diagonal lines instead of a progress bar.

    Anyone else experienced this?

  2. Perhaps try to enable the "Open terminal window" option in the ffmpegX menu, this could give access to additional feedback in the terminal window (and possibly error messages).

    Hi Major.

Here is part of the terminal window output. I'd be gratefule if you could take a glance. Thanks!

  4. Strange, it looks like it is encoding only 8 frames. I tried converting a 1920x1080 mpeg-2 clip to x264 h264 and it worked normally. Does the problem appear with other clips? Are you running G3, G4, G5, Intel?

Nevermind major. It is only streams captured from Fox that are giving me troble. These streams are notorious at giving trouble to decoding and encoding software.

    Cheers!
