Is there anything that someone can suggest that will get my miniDV tape back on digital cue so that I can capture. I have issues with my camcorder from time to time and the playback gets blocky. Please help, I am about to pull my hair out here. Thanks.

solution: forward the tape to the end, then rewind it to the beginning, then make sure to capture from the beginning.

switch to a better grade (and manuf recommended) miniDV tapes, stick with 1 brand, don't mix older tapes/various brands with new ones, don't reuse old tapes and clean camcorder video head (as above).
