There was a long thread on this some time ago. Worth searching for. Suggestions ranged from white toothpaste, through to brasso polish, up to disc doctor type resurfacing machines.

Johnsons Wax furniture spray. It both fills the scratch and restores reflectivity.

Take it to a local video center , most provide a scratch removal service for a couple of buck's .

Or purchase a scratch removal product like "wipe out" and do it yourself ... wipe out is the cheapest , and best sollution ... able to fix as many as 100 cd's/dvd's ... only need to work on the scratch's , not the whole surface .

Do not purchase any other liquid based product's ... wipe out beat's them all ... the rest are a waste of money .

Avoid thing's like "skip doctor" , about $100au , cheap and nasty ... take's too much off surface as it dose the whole disc face ... replacement part's dont reflect good value .

No No No! DO NOT USE JOHNSON'S WAX FURNITURE SPRAY! It contains several solvents that will actually eat away at the disc surface and also make the disc brittle.

I went to "Wipe Out CD repair" web site and the check-out page was no longer available. Also noticed the page copyright is 1997 - 2001. Home page was 2003.
So where is this product available in the US?
    Thanks

    I like Novus#2.
Try ripping video with DVDFab Decrypter and data with IsoBuster.

the best way is to get a very powerful microscope and fill in the scratches with a mixture of ambrosian shellfish flakes and persion crystal sand, then seal it with dolphin tears and buff it out with white tiger fur, should work great
