I'm working on a project involving both DV and HDV footage using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. Project settings are HDV. Projects render OK and, as expected, the DV footage looks pretty lousy compared with HDV.
Here's my question. Has anyone done any "pre-processing" to the DV footage (e.g. de-interlacing, filtering, etc.) that will improve it's quality when rendered to HDV? Thanks in advance.
