  1. tried DivFix, it crashes halfway through after telling me there is a corrupt frame.
tried VirtualDub, crashes when i try to open the file -- regardless of the options i select.
tried Premiere... can't open the file.
When i open a window containing the broken file, CPU usage for explorer.exe goes to 100% and stays there as windows unsuccessfully tries to find the resolution, duration, etc. of the file.
    Any ideas ?

  2. Hi,

    Have you tried TMPGEnc?

You maybe able to encode to .MPG upto the damaged frame, then encode from the damaged frame +1 frame then join the 2 .MPG's again using TMPGEnc.

I have had to do this many times and if only 1 or a couple frames are damaged, you want notice much disturbance.

    Cheers.
