Hello everyone,
I have all the episodes of Star Trek TNG downloaded and they are currently in Divx format. What I was hoping to do was to burn them onto a dvd- so that I can watch them on my tv with my dvd player. Can someone explain to me or link to me the process I would have to do this so that I can select each episode on the dvd, etc.
Thanks for your help.

Hello Cybrex,
If you're not fussed about menus (I.E. you just want the video on the DVD so that it will play on your DVD player) then you could try WinAVI.

No, not WinAVI... Anything but that piece of monkey****! (No, really, I'm serious, WinAVI is considered training wheels and worse around here.)

You might want to try ConvertXtoDVD2 (used to be known as DivxtoDVD).
(Check it in the TOOLS selection on the left pane.)
Another idea, you may wish to consider changing out your DVD player to one that also plays DIVX files. I have the Phillips 642 and LG LDA-511. This way, the DVDs you make can be either/or.Whatever doesn't kill me, merely ticks me off. (Never again a Sony consumer.)

You could also thank yourself in later years by buying series 1-7 on DVD here:
