Ok,first of all please don't yell at me!I have an audio sync problem with a video tha I want to convert to dvd.I did a lot of searching ,believe me,but again I have the same problem.Ok here it goes:
-Divx file 4,3 gb! (no problems of audio sync whatsoever as divx)

-4,5 hours long video made with PowerDirector 5.

-MANY problems till I finally convert it to divx, and still 2 videos have no sound but I can live with that after so many tries!

-Trying to make it a DVD with ConvertX to DVD with result audio going much slower than the picture.

-Much reading and searching of your forum.

    Conclusion:
-VirtualDub to turn audio into WAV and re-encoding video with the WAV audio source. Also scanned the files for unreadable or damaged video frames and it had NONE.

-AviToDVD to convert it to DVD

-After approximately 10 hrs (the program turned WAV to AC3 first) I had the dvd files ready.

-Burned them with NeroVision And had a video tha was 1hour longer
Wait a second, this can't be right cause the original length was 4.30 hrs
So when I played it ,the sound was stretched like in slow motion movies, you know.Very heavy voices and music like ''hhhhhhhheeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyy yyyyyyyoooooouuuuuuu''

Guys PLEASE give me a hand cause I'm going nuts here!I've tried many programs and many hours of converting with the CPU usage 10 hrs a day at 100%
And the most serious reason of all that I want your help,is that I promised to watch this DVD at a girls place approximately in 10 days when my exams ends!
This video is about a school trip we took in Germany,Berlin! To any germans here : YOUR COUNTRY ROCKZZZZ

Just burn the video_ts vob, ifo, bup files instead using nero burning rom or nero express, don't use nerovision as it may reencode everything again. If you want menus use tda.

Ok,I just had an idea...may be foolish but I'll ask anyway...
Since ConvertXtoDVD has a problem with the VBR mp3 file and wants an AC3 file(as I read),is there anyway to select the AC3 file that AVItoDVD provided me and ''say'' to the program that I want the conversion to be done with that?
I checked VirtualDub too but couldn't find any option for this.It just has the ''Save wav'' option.

You can mux (combine) the AC3 audio file back in with VirtualDub by adding it to the video. I use VirtualDub Mod for this as I like the way it handles audio better than the regular VD. In 'Streams', select 'Add' and your new audio. Move it up to the top, then select the old audio and click 'delete'. This won't damage the old audio. Save the audio with full processing and the video with direct stream copy (no processing), then use the new combined file for the input to ConvertXToDVD. You can do the same with the WAV file you extracted. ConvertXToDVD will accept a WAV also if you mux it back in with VDM..

You can play it with VLC media player. VDMod can probably play it also with AC3 ACM Decompressor installed.

I use ffmpeggui most of the time for WAV to AC3 conversions from VirtualDub Mod. Then I add the AC3 back in when authoring. Very simple and fast.

I managed to get the AC3 file but I don't quite understand your instructions. In VirtualdubMOD when I go to ''Streams'' I get ''Video comments'' and ''Video chapters''.In ''video comments'' when I press ''add'' I get nothing at all.In ''video chapters'' it only allow .txt files. How can I load the AC3 file?

You might look at this thread as it covers similar problems: https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=1522463#1522463

In VDM, you want 'Stream list'.
