    How can I join multiple avi files with different video resolution,pls?

    I believe they have to be the same resolution. After that, it can be accomplished with VirtualDub.

    For different resolutions, I think you would need to re-encode the videos.

    You can't. they have to be reencoded to the same res.

    avisynth. Bring them in, resize them and join them, all in one script. Use virtualdub to re-encode the final clip
