    Hi there!
    A friend of mine burned this SVCD for me with a slideshow of pictures, nothing more. How can I extract/convert/copy them to file?

    Well you could use isobuster to extract the mpg. However if it is a true svcd than the individual pictures are gone and its really video.

    You could load the mpg into virutaldubmpeg2 and go to file - save image sequence. that will spit out several bmp files.
