I have a TV series box set I would like to put on DVD but bypass or get rid of the menus and simply have the episodes play.
I used shrink to get it onto my hard drive and then was going to use TMPGE DVD author to author it however when I go to add video I get 16 titles instead of 8. Well actually I get 17 but the first one is the intro video which I don't want anyway. I loaded the first two titles and they appear to be exactly the same. It would appear there is two copies of each title.
I tried it on another box set I have and there is two titles for each episode on it as well.
Can someone explain why there would be two copies of each title?
In addition if you take the total space of the titles it appears it is twice the size of the VIDEO_TS folder that is on my hard drive that contains the video.
Thank you

Could be for a number of reasons, such as one might have a different angle, a hidden scene or different audio (director's commentary). It should list the features on the cover and from that you should be able to work out why the titles are doubled up.
I would suggest watching both titles of one particular episode through from beginning to end until you work out what is going on, so that you don't inadvertently grab the wrong title. If in doubt, Google it. -
I agree with Jimma and suspect it's prolly different angles that is
giving you multiple files.

Either that, or it's giving WS vs. FS? But for TV series... Hmmm...

No that is not the problem and I was wrong. THere is actually three copies of the one title and two of most of the others.
As I mentioned if you add up the size of all of the titles listed in TMPGE it is close to 10 GB however the VIDEO_TS folder that these are being taken from is only 4.35 GB so it would appear the extra titles are phantom and don't actually exist but not sure why, and that is what I would like to know.
Also shrink only lists the 8 titles before shrinking.
