Since the x264 is one of the most efficient codecs out there I would like to play with additional settings so I could get maximum out of x264. Unfortunately that are only few options in ffmpegX. There seems to be a tons of interesting command-line video tools inside ffmpegX. I guess only 2 of them are required for basic x264 video encoding: ffmpeg to decode the video and x264 to reencode the video. But you will need insane amount of free space in your harddrive if you are running these individually, since x264 want's raw YUV 4:2:0 video. Can anybody help me how to run ffmpeg and x264 togetter like ffmpegX does?
P.S. I'm quite a n00b at command-line :P
P.P.S. Are there any plans to add advance x264 options to ffmpegX?
