It used to be, I could right-click on a folder full of AVI's, choose "browse with AVICodec", and AVICodec would almost instantly pop up with the list of AVI's and their properties.
That is still the case for XviD's.
However, if there are any DivX files in the folder, this process now takes much longer. I just tried it on a folder with 9 divx files, and it took almost 15 seconds for the AVICodec window to finally pop up with the results.
Does anyone know of a workaround for this problem? I'm very tempted to downgrade my divx, since I am suspecting that it is the newer version of divx that is to blame.
