  1. I have a WMV file that i wanted to convert to AVI, it includes a segment in the beggining with a logo of the person who encoded the file it also has a little music with it, and it takes about 3 seconds of the beggining of the file, i wanted to cut it using virtualdub, but it cause the audiosync problem, and the audio stopped being synchrinized with the video, btw, even if i do not cut this segment away and just convert it as it is, the audio problem still exists, can someone help me with this, is there a way to avoid this?

just don't tell me that i can fix it with this "preload" option in VB, i tryed this but it doesn't help.

try convert the audio to a wav, in virtualdub open the wmv, audio->full processing and file->save wav. then use that wav as audio source, audio->wav source. it often fix audio sync issues for vbr audio.

you could also try cut the wmv with asfbin, steeper, asftools and then convert it.
