  1. Hi;
    So far, I tried to copy some selected dvd karaoke songs from difference dvds to one single dvd. I used the Ulead software to selecte some karaoke songs from difference dvds and then burn to one single dvd. But the new karaoke dvd alway had the singer vocal, I can't turn it off. Look like the software was combine 2 audio tracks to one audio track. I don't know if anyone know how copy selected dvd karaoke songs and that dvd can turn on and off the vocal as well. Or if you know other software can do that, please show me.
    Thanks a lot for your help.

  2. In order to copy selected songs from a karaoke disc to a DVD-R, you should not use normal video editor software or authoring Sw as most of them only keep one audio track.
    There are a few methods to do this (I know 2)

    FIRST METHOD:
    1) use SmartRipper to rip each chapter (song) , make sure one VOB per chapter
    2) follow the GUIDE in this forum as to how to create DVD using trailers VOBs. Search for VobEdit and IfoEdit tools. The guide is very clear.

    SECOND (easier)
    1) use DVD2One (the new version) to rip the chapters you want
    2) also use DVD2One to create a new DVD with the chapters above (VOB files)
    DVD2One keep all selected audio tracks.

    Possible issues (I ran into these).
    1) If the songs came from different DVDs (especially from different production companies), their audio may not have same sampled rate. And the resulting DVD you make may have audio problem (no sound at all).
    2) some songs (from different DVDs) may have vocal on audio1, other on audio2. So you have to keep track of this when you play the resulting DVD you make (e.g. vocal is off for songs 1 to 5 since you select audio 1, song 6 suddenly have vocal on and you need to change to audio 2 to turn it off).
