Hi there,
being quite a lazy person, I let DIKO do most of my DivX/XviD to DVD conversions. Now, all of a sudden, I'm having trouble. First, my software setup:
* DIKO free 2.23
* EclCCE 1.81
* CCE SP 2.67.00.27
CCE is set to 5-Pass VBR in DIKO. Audio encoding is disabled via DIKO.ini and done manually. The problem is:
From time to time DIKO/CCE produces a final MPV of 2MB size, though I converted a 20min episode from a 220MB DivX/XviD source or even a whole movie. This only happens after the last (5th) pass. I've checked the temp. MPVs during the passes before and they've been just the way I wanted them to be, including expected file size.
This also happens when converting to SVCD. Since the problem doesn't occur all of the time, I can't say whether it's a problem with DIKO, EclCCE, CCE or the combination I'm using. Manual re-encodes do work, but are quite a pain in the ass when you're encoding a 12-ep-series-DVD for hours and hours and end up with one or two episodes screwed up.
Thanks in advance for your help!
