TDA is a fairly simple, beginner level authoring tool. If you want more templates or more freedom then you need to look at something with more features. Ulead DVD Workshop 2 or DVD Lab Pro would be good starting points.

  4. OTOH you can make your own menus and add them as Video (motion menus) or a still image. Pick an appropriate type of button and then resize things like the images TDA creates for each title and drag them to a corner where they won't show, Put the text box that is created with each title by the program, Fill the box with spaces and move them to where their functionality will match the menu you created and author. You can make things really small, put them in the corners or along the bottom where they'll be hidden in the TV sets overscan. If you move the play all button off screen it will still function when you press select.

Doing it this way you can make some really nice menus or for one movie on a DVD you could do a screen cap of the title and use it as the background for your menu for example
