OGM to AVI

I just bought a divx player and got a bunch of anime in OGM format. I was wondering if anyone can link me to a guide to convery OGM to avi so I can play it on my divx dvd player.

Depends if the video is ok, what audio the files use. How many audio streams, subtitles, etc.

Basically if the video is ok, the audio is vorbis and it has only one stream or you only want one, then you can use mencoder.
mencoder.exe -ovc copy -oac mp3lame -aid # -noskip input.ogm -o output.avi

If it has softsubs, then you need to use ogmdemuxer or similar to demux. Then if your player supports external textsubs, just name the same as the avi and you should be done.

If the file has hardsubs, then they are probably going to be cut of by the overscan of your TV.
