I have been researching televisions and was hoping for some of your help.
I have kind of narrowed down my search to 2 televisions:
LGE37LC2D LG 37" LCD Widescreen HDTV
SAMLNS4051D Samsung 40" LCD Widescreen HDTV
I really like the price tag on the LG, 1850 from ultimate electronics right now.
The only problem that I see is that it only has 1 hdmi cable.
I will be currently only using the television for the HDTV cable box but in the near future will be buying a new HDMI dvd player. I would also like to use it to hook to my laptop and ideally surf the internet. Both have a VGA input, so I guess that I might use this as my laptop doesn't have a hdmi output and doubt if I update that. I also hope to eventually hook this system up to a hmdi surround sound receiver
Would I be better off getting a tv that has 2 hdmi inputs?
OR
Would buying a switch be better?
ALSO
What about when I buy a hdmi receiver?
Will they be able to handle multiple hdmi inputs which would then in turn have only 1 output to the televisions input?
Several questions but usually not a problem on these forums.
Thanks
Jeff

The more HDMI the better on the TV. HDMI switchers are expensive now.

A HDMI receiver is still out in the future and will be even more expensive.
