  1. I converted a .rm file to .avi with Tinra...that kinda worked...the sound was there but when I played it in Windows Media Player, the video was choppy. I opened the file in TMPGEnc, and when I looked at the video through the filter preview (the screen that lets you see the video when you select a filter)...I noticed that all the video was there (when I moved the scroll bar across slowly, it looked like the full movie)...so I tried converting it to .mpg, but every time I do so, I get sound but there is no video - it is just a black screen....why is it doing this? Should I use another converter? If so, which one? Thanks in advance - Adam

  2. look at the stream type right bottom in tmpg
    there you have the option to convert only the audio stream
    maybe it is check, if yes just check the last checkbox video+audio
