    when i try to rip a dvd using any program (currently cladmdec) i get this message when opening the program:

    "A valid ASPI Layer has not been found on this computer!
    Authentication will not be possible through cladmdec!
    Unpredictable results may occur when trying to 'rip' a dvd that's not unlocked!!!"

    What does this message mean and how can i correct the problem!?! any help would be greatly appreciated!

    well this means you dont have a working ASPi layer and the DVD Ripper is complaining well on CladMdecs site he has the ASPI layer installer ready to download so i suggest you go to his site and download the the ASpi layer to give you a working ASPI layer and make sure you get the corect installer for your OS
