    hi people

Does anyone knows, if I do the Authoring in a Software like TMPGenc DVD author and then, I manage to add a menu for it in DVD lab, does it still have the same problem? I don't know why but PS2 and my home DVD player have trouble with DVD-Lab and IfoEdit autored DVDs, other players just play them fine...

    Any help would be appreciated.

Do you use elementary streams - i.e. what's your source ?
If you use VOBs, do you let DLP demux them when it asks ?
Do you test the output from your HDD using a good software player such as PowerDVD ?

From most of my personal creation's , playstation 2 fall short as being good dvd player's .

Dvdlab has bug's , just like tmpgenc dvd author , mostly limitation's .

But for those wanting too do these :

1: Use dvdauthorgui if menu is required ... most reliable ... goto 2 if no menu needed .
2: From in the forum , it's rejig for ntsc source , and ifoedit for pal source (dont forget "get vts sectors" , and correct video / audio annomolies)
3: Burn with dvd decryter or img tool's ... consol's like rw and + media more ...

For those needing playback testing on pc , but no money :

Install ac3filters , freedvdcodec or other , koolplaya (play's from both folder's and dvd rom) , good for xp

    Ifoedit playback for win98 , win98se , winme , win nt 2000 only (crap's out under xp)
(very good for locating navigational error's during playback , correct with pgcedit)
