I have a about 70 video clips on my PC. They're all in different resolutions ans different formats. Is a a simple tool that I could use to crop and resize those video files and convert them into a common format.

No.
You could try using an editor to load all the files, put them in a sequence, and see how you go, but the quality will likely vary a lot. Few programs will handle all formats without issue.
Depending on what they are you might also look at an avisynth script, but that's a lot of coding.Read my blog here.

Take a look at SUPER - it accepts most formats as source material.

The most common format is DVD video. If you can play them on your PC, then you most likely can convert them to DVD video with TMPGenc, and then TMPGenc DVDauthor, to burn all of them to . DVDs with menu.
