Friend of mine purchased one of those fancy video camera that uses 30 min DVDs instead of the tapes, now he is asking me how to edit them or combine 3 of 4 of them and put it on one regular DVD. I have never dealt with these cameras so I have no ideas.
I assume that the video on the DVD recorded in the .VOB format, so I guess one way to be is to convert the VOB to AVI edit and author the DVD form the new AVI file. That however will require uncompressing and recompressing.
What is the easiest way to edit the footage w/o converting the VOB to AVI and burn the video on the regular DVD?
Thanks.
