    I'm having problems converting apple trailers to 3GP I get a 3kb file I dont have any problems with xvid to 3GP can anyone help I'm doing this for my Motorola V360 phone

    Looks like it uses QuickTime 7.04 to decode, so it should have no problems with trailers. Although QuickTime is about the slowest AVC decoder around.

    How exactly are ffmpeg's libavcodec/format copyright Xilisoft? If it is using them for decoding, then that could be a problem since I don't think libavformat handles qt trailers properly. Remuxing to mp4 may help.

    Personally I would suggest avoiding any software that thinks ffmpeg is copyright to them. Also where is the source code?

    What do you mean by source code?

    Does anyone know where I can get avi movie trailers.

    I mean they include GPL/LGPL software so there should be source code.
