Here is an interesting problem.......
When using iuvcr to capture from VHS, I can only capture from tuner audio in! In the crossbar setting under video, it mutes the audio in from the composite cables.
Question.....how do you uncheck the muted pin to capture in glorious stereo?
Sony Vaio RX360DS
256 MB Ram
40 GB HDD
Windows Xp Home Edition
ATI AIW 128 PCI 16 MB
Any suggestions?

Assuming you have the ATI card that "does not" support the breakout cable, under the audio tab in iuvcr, select your "line in" from your sound card. Get a cable that converts RCA/composite connectinos to mini-stereo (looks like the headphone jack) and plug that into your line in on the sound card (Radio Shack offers these cables). This means the only thing plugged into your ATI card will be the video.

Same here.
I have a radeon 8500 64 meg and an ati tv wonder ( pci) card. Iuvcr works fine. I am using the new catalyst drivers for my Radeon 8500. I am using the new mmc 7.6 for the tv wonder pci. All is well, except when using IUVCR the "Crossbar2" doesn't show up! I can record video and audio perfectly from the tv tuner but NOT from the composite setting! I see the video no problems, but the audio is NOT selectable from the plain "crossbar". Usually it's only selectable from Crossbar2 but it isn't enabled!?! It's greyed out.
How can I enable that second crossbar "Crossbar2" in IUVCR??? I figure its a driver issue. When I look in the device manager under the sounds heading I see 4 entries for the Ati Tv wonder:
ATI TV WONDER WDM Audio Capture
" " " " Video Capture
" " " " AV Crossbar
" " " " TV Tuner
Now, with the same setup but under Windows98se, I have 5 entires instea d of 4.... the only difference is under Win98se I have an entry for both Audio Crossbar and Video Crossbar. Is the Av one in Xp a combo crossbar?? Can anyone help me out here??
How can I get that second crossbar ( crossbar2) enabled in IUVCR???
Thanx all.
