    Hello.
    I need to use Toast 7 to burn the Video_TS folders created using the 'Join' feature in DVD2ONEX.
    DTOX join creates no "main menu" for the Video_TS folder it makes so I'd like to use the Toast 7 'DVD-Video' option to get one for the finished DVD.

    Here's my recurring problem: When I drag the Video_TS folder(s) into Toast using DVD-Video option only part of the movie shows up. A 16 min. clip said 2min.52 seconds. The Godfather was only 1hr.9min. instead of 3 hrs.
    The same thing happens if i put the Video_TS folders into the Movies folder -- they show up in the 'media' tab but I only get part of the show if I use DVD-Video option.

    It works perfectly if I use the 'DVD-Video from Video_TS' but then I HAVE NO MENUS -- the DVD just starts playing. Menu good. I need.
    If anyone out there knows what the heck I'm talking about and can help please do. Thanks!!

    OH BTW -- Sometimes I can drag a Video_TS folder to Toast DVD-Video option and have the whole program show up, but not on any I have created.
    Also, I used MPEG Streamclip to fix possible 'time code breaks'. Either I used it wrong or it made no difference.
    Why does only part of the video clip show up sometimes instead of the whole thing anyway? It's the only thing funky about Toast 7. Everything else has worked wonderfully.

    Place the VIDEO_TS folder on your desktop. Now click the Media button in Toast to enter the Media Browser. Choose DVD with the browser's top button. Go down one level with the lower button. Drag the title that appears in the browser to the Toast Video window. This extracts the MPEG from the VIDEO_TS. You now can author and burn it to a DVD with the Toast menu of your choice.

    Hey it works!! Thanks man!!

    If I take a Video_TS folder out of it's parent folder and put it on the desktop AND/OR in the Movies folder They will show in DVD in the media section.
    I was leaving the Video_TS folder in it's parent folder so it was only showing up in the Movies section and wasn't working right. That's too bad because I so need that to work the way it seems it should work.

    Why do I have to take the Video_TS folder out of it's parent folder anyway? By having to do that I can only use 2 Video_TS folders at a time to compile a new DVD (1 on the Desktop and 1 in the Movies folder). I need to use MANY at a time.

    Here's an idea: What if I make DISC IMAGES out of the parts I want to use, then mount them all. Will Toast media DVD mode recognize all of them? It's a lot more work but the only way I can think of to compile all those segments into 1, unless I'm missing something....again.

    After you drag the title(s) from the Media Browser to the Video window you can remove the VIDEO_TS folder from the desktop. Toast copies the MPEG to the Roxio Converted Items folder and uses that for the new DVD so the VIDEO_TS isn't needed anymore. Then place another on the desktop and repeat. Just don't quit Toast because the Converted Items folder gets emptied automatically if you haven't changed the default preferences.

    In order to appear in the DVD section of the Media Browser it either needs to be a mounted DVD, and mounted video DVD disc image or a VIDEO_TS folder on the desktop.

    Yes. Use the "Mount It" contextual menu to save time.

    It should have been part of your default install screen.
    A screen that would have prompted you to:

    * Install contextual menu plugin
    * Install DIVX Component
    * Install "Deja Vu" Component

    Once that is done, you should be able to option click
    ( or if 2 button mouse enabled, right click) and
    select the option from the contextual pop-up menu.

    Sorry, it's what I get for being a two-button mouse user.....
    I blame logitech for spoiling me into forgetting the keyboard
    shortcut for the contextual menus.....
