I just found this in fatwallet from one of their senior members post....any one try them yet?

Use one of the 10% coupon codes to make the price even better! I used CS10

I saw these a little more then a week ago and figured i'd give them a try. I've used just about all media out there, including all
DL media and Verbatim is really the only thing that had been consistent (MKM) I had a lot of failures with Ritek so I've stayed far away from
that stuff. When I saw these, I figured i'd get a 25 pack to test them out and I was more then pleasantly surprised with the results. Burned 12 of them
so far and they are all perfect! If the other 13 are the same (which I fully expect) i'll get a couple hundred. I'm very picky about quality of my backups and don't like heavy compression due to pixelation, artifacts, etc.

Bottom line is there are NO dual layer/Double layer media i've seen that is of high quality that's less then $1.75 a piece without Rebate. No Rebate hassles to worry about here. Even a 25 pack using the coupon code would still be ~ $1.39.

I've burned these on 2 burners primarily. NEC 3550A and my Lite-On SOHW 1693S

will share with you all later on with my result!

I already tried this media in several burners. Most failed to recognize as dual layer, all failed to burn successfully. I bought 25. I burnt 16 and threw out the rest of them. I also sent a nasty-gram to the site of purchase and the manufacturer.

Horrible media. Don't waste your money.

What are the Hong Kong media 'pirates' getting in the DL business now? 8) . Seems to me, anything 'house brand' (likely trash to begin with) and DL is just asking for trouble. Hey if you really wanna throw your $ away, I could start a Paypal acct for you to donate to .

    let me check the shopbook:

    Pioneer 110 - 2 Failure to burn
NEC 3540a - 2 Failures to burn - both fail to be recognized
BenQ DQ60 - 2 Failure to burn - failure to switch layers properly
    Samsung 162A - 2 Failure to burn
Sony 120A - 2 Failure to burn - both fail to be recognized
    LG 4165b - 2 Failure to burn
    Plextor 750a - 2 Failure to burn
    NEC 3550a - 2 Failure to burn

After opening and using 4 discs this company also refused to allow me to return the unused portion for customer credit as most companies do.

I'd recommend nobody buys from them. But if you do I can highly recommend you do not buy these discs.

I have used a couple on a Pioneer 110 with no problems during burning or playback.

I got some of these disks a couple of weeks ago. Same media code. Shop4Tech sent me a coupon, so they ended up costing $1.30 each with free shipping. So far I've burned 9, with no problems recording with a NEC 3520, or with playback on computer/standalone.

I'm still testing them, so I can't recommend them at this point, but so far they've been a pleasant surprise. The way I look at it, even if the rest of the pack don't work at all, I will still have learned something, and at little cost. Cheap dvd knowledge is rare.

  13. Just because they're senior members doesn't necessarily mean the know about media. This forum has people who are more knowledgeable IMHO.
