I have a xvid file with mp3 audio that plays fine on my PC. When I burn it to disc and play it on my Philips 642 the audio is choppy. I have searched but I can't find an answer to this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Edit: Okay, you're on a Mac. I should really learn to look at that field before posting.
It would help to know more about the video file. What properties does it have? (VLC and/or MPlayer might provide a more detailed description of the video's composition.)

Normally, though, I tend to assume audio problems like that on the 642 could be the result of VBR audio in the AVI. It could be something else, of course. That's why more information about the video could help us figure it out.
