hi folks,
I have an nVidia GeFOrce MX4000 graphics card, with TV out on it.
Only recently, I tried to play a legal DVD on my PCs DVD player, and I got a message saying that the DVD could not be played because copy protection would not permit it to be displayed whilst TV out was enabled on my graphics card.
What's that all about?
Is there any way I can disable it, so that I can watch DVDs from my PC on my TV - or even on my PC, for that matter?

Windows Media Player, PowerDVD.
The WMP message is "Windows Media PLayer cannot play the DVD because a problem ocurred with digital copyright protection".
PowerDVD says "This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled."
VLC will play them though... -
Try this trick .
1:
Locate and install any free dvd vide codec , there used to be one called freedvdcodec , or that might have just been the stupid zip file's name I have here .
2:
Install ac3filter's .
3:
Download koolplaya (can playback from disc or folder) , and it can also play any file you have the correct decoder's installed .
Try again ...
Worthy : Xpantispy ... remove's window's messenger from pc ... it too has these issue's .
