  1. I've recently ripped a DVD using Decrypter specifically to convert for Ipod, but I would now like to burn the resultant VOB file to a 4.3 Gb DVDr. Problem is, is that when I try and load the file in to DVD Shrink it tells me it can't find the Video_TS file, but Decrypter never created one, it just created a vts_01_1.ifo and a vts_01_1.vob. I havent got the DVD anymore so I cant just do it from disc again.

    any ideas?

  2. Sounds like DVD decrypter didnt complete properally. VOB files can be no bigger than 1gb so you would normally expect 4-8 of them on a dvd.

How big is your VOB file ?.

  3. In order to convert the DVD video to MP4 so that it can play on an Ipod, I had to tell decrypter not to split up the VOB files, this is why I have one big 5Gb Vob file.

So why are you trying to use DVD Shrink ?

Shrink expects to see a compliant DVD structure, which you don't have. Re-rip the dvd, preserving the structure, and run it through shrink.

Or load the vob into another program to reauthor back to a compliant structure.
